The A417 ‘Missing link’: A Cotswold landscape 12,000 years in the making
From Spring 2023 to Summer 2024, Oxford Cotswold Archaeology undertook archaeological mitigation works along the route of the A417 “Missing Link” improvement project. With fieldwork now complete, OCA are able to share more detail about the discoveries, which tell a story of how this part of the Cotswolds was used across 12,000 years.

Heveningham Hall Country Fair
This two-day event is packed with attractions for all ages, including captivating horse displays, the wonderful dog show, and fascinating birds of prey demonstrations but maybe more importantly… archaeology?! We’ll have finds to handle and a chance for the whole family to get involved and join in. Come see us over the weekend, and look out for the OCA gazebo!!

First Light Festival
OCA will be going to the First Light Festival in June; a free, multi-arts festival on the shimmering sands of Lowestoft’s seafront. We’ll have finds to handle and a chance for the whole family to get involved and dig. Come see us over the weekend, we’ll be located in the Sizewell C tent!
