OCA will be going to the Westmorland Dales Festival in July!

This July, Oxford Cotswold Archaeology will be joined by AtkinsRealis at the Westmorland Dales Festival; a free event celebrating the landscape, heritage and people of the Westmorland Dales. We’ll have finds from the ongoing A66 Northern Trans-Pennine Project on display and to handle, activities for the whole family, and an opportunity to ask questions about the project.

Come see us over the weekend, we’ll be located in the OCA Marquee!

The festival offers a rich and engaging programme that includes guided walks, wildlife, geology and heritage, alongside family-friendly workshops, demonstrations, and talks.

With something on offer for all ages, the festival provides a welcoming and memorable way to connect with the natural beauty, history and community of the Westmorland Dales.
