Join us at The Rooms in Penrith for a chance to explore fascinating archaeological discoveries from the A66 Northern Trans-Pennine project and learn more about the area’s rich heritage.

We are delighted to be joined by GraceForge at The Rooms, where visitors will be able to take part in cold forging copper arrowheads as part of the artists’ ongoing creative commission inspired by the archaeology of the A66 project.

Opening Times

Friday 30 October – Saturday 31 October | 10:00am – 4:00pm

Admission is free and visitors are welcome to drop in at any time during opening hours.

Parking

The Rooms is located in Penrith town centre, next to St Andrew’s Church. There are several public car parks within a short walk of the venue, including Sandgate Car Park, Bluebell Lane Car Park, and Friargate Car Park. Limited on-street parking may also be available nearby.

The Rooms is an accessible venue and includes:

• Public disabled parking bays nearby;
• Step-free access at entrance and a lift to exhibition;
• Accessible toilet facilities.

Dogs

Assistance dogs are welcome.

Food and refreshments will be available at the venue in the Cafe4Eden.
